RE Nicol LLC ("we," "us") operates renicolllc.com. This policy describes how we handle information you provide when you contact us, use the AI assistant, or browse this website.
Information we collect
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we may collect your name, email address, message content, and any other details you choose to provide.
AI assistant (RE Nicol / VoxHQ widget)
When you use the site-wide chat assistant, your messages may be processed to generate responses. Depending on configuration, conversation text may be sent to VoxHQ, ElevenLabs (text-to-speech for voice), Twilio (voice call transport), or related AI service providers. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive data in the chat widget.
If you call our voice line, Twilio processes call audio and metadata; ElevenLabs may synthesize spoken responses. Call recordings, if enabled, are governed by this policy and applicable telecom rules.
Analytics
We use self-hosted Umami at analytics.renicolllc.com to measure aggregate site usage (page views, referrers, browser/device type, and general geography). Umami does not use advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not sell data to third parties. Analytics data is stored on infrastructure we control, separate from this Next.js application.
How we use information
We use contact submissions to respond to inquiries, evaluate partnership opportunities, and improve our venture studio operations. Assistant interactions help answer questions about our public portfolio. We do not sell personal information.
How contact form data is delivered
Server-side delivery uses one of these providers (configured in production):

If neither provider is configured, the form falls back to a mailto: link in your browser.
Retention
We retain messages only as long as needed for business correspondence and legal compliance. Assistant logs, if any, follow provider retention policies.
Third parties
This site may link to external ventures and services operated by separate entities. Those sites have their own privacy practices. See also our Cookie Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of contact data you submitted by emailing robert@renicolllc.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when features change (e.g., live assistant, analytics). Material updates will be reflected in the last-updated date below.
